Fall 2017 Meeting: 2016 & 2017 Cohorts
During this two-day meeting, 2016 Knowles Teaching Fellows explored the disciplinary practices for mathematics or science and considered how they understand their meaning, purpose and connections across disciplines. 2017 Knowles Teaching Fellows explored the cognitive demands of tasks, considered how they are linked to engaging students in the 5 practices, and considered the role of “talk” in the classroom.
