I have been lucky enough to have teachers who always seemed like they were having fun! I have loved math because of those teachers and realized the most fitting way to share my love of math was through teaching.”

Why Mathematics
“I grew up being told I was good at math because I was ‘a math person.’ Math brought a lot of enjoyment to my life, and hated that “non-math people” weren’t given a chance to love math.’ I want to be able to show students that there is math that they do everyday, which in fact, makes them math people. Being a person is being a math person!”
