“Chemistry is a wonderful combination of both theory and mathematics in an attempt to explain the world around us. It explains the world in a way that breaks it down to its base pieces and it’s amazing what the world can do with such few basic building blocks.”

Professional Experience

Alison worked as a teaching assistant for General Chemistry at Stanford University for three years. She also worked for the Leland Scholars Program and the Math and Science for Minority Students Program at Phillips Academy in 2016. Additionally, Alison worked as a tutor for five years.

Alison will begin teaching at Santa Catalina School during the 2018–2019 school year.

Hobbies

Alison enjoys baking cupcakes and snuggling with her two golden retrievers.
