We are thrilled to announce that Anna Monteiro will participate in the NYC Department of Education’s Professional Day on June 6, 2024. Anna will lead a session titled “Engaging Learners in Groupwork Through Actionable Norms.”
Implementing effective groupwork can often be a challenge when working with students. Make groupwork a powerful learning experience by improving collaboration and increasing participation. In this session, teachers will engage as learners as presenters model the use of actionable norms in promoting groupwork and authentic learning conversations. Actionable norms are used to promote and redefine successful and productive collaboration, increasing engagement and learning.
