Will’s Story
Will has taught math at High Tech High International in San Diego, California for the past 19 years. He has also taught a variety of education classes for the High Tech High Graduate School to beginning teachers and visitors. Will is passionate about using data, research, and improvement structures to innovate new ways to help low-income students succeed in high school, college, and beyond. He is also a Kaleidoscope Author and was a member of the High Tech High ASCENT team for three years. More recently he spent 5 years as part of the CARPE research team looking into improving college graduation rates for underprivileged students. And is currently part of a research initiative looking into improving Chronic Absenteeism across California.
